For Those Who Prefer Speedy XP
Here is a video I made of one of the fasting methods of leveling fishing in the game. I'm sure there are other ways to do this, but I have found this to be an extremely fast way to level fishing, and magic at the same time.

Re: For Those Who Prefer Speedy XP
Here is a chart of the fish caught, xp gained for each, and levels required.
If you plan on high alching, you will also need 55 magic

Re: For Those Who Prefer Speedy XP
That's the level required, but what level is the speed per catch really worth it?

Re: For Those Who Prefer Speedy XP
barbarian has always been fast fishing xp, but it makes no money.
I think fly fishing is almost as fast if you don't bank, but again, no money, and much more clicking.---

Re: For Those Who Prefer Speedy XP
Updated xp rated after 68 fishing. Trials run using decorated fishing urns, and Ibis pouches.
Monkfish (30-40k xp/hr)
^
Cavefish (35-45k xp/hr)
^
Shilo Fly Fishing (40-50k xp/hr)
^
Swordfish/Tuna w/ gloves + sc harpoon (50-60k xp/hr)
^
Barbarian Fishing @ Otto's grotto (70-80k xp/hr)
^
Dungeoneering c2 rushes (90-120k xp/hr)*
*Urns/pouches do not apply to Dungeoneering, but use the gatherer's ring for most xp. Also, rates usually are in this range, but if you are extremely unlucky, you could get very few fishing spots in floors, though very unlikely. (See upcoming c2 rush guide)
If you have anything to add/correct, please post. Last edited by pooflinger48, 7/29/2011, 11:53 am
