my name change thread
This is the spot I'm going to build my thread.
It's a complex thought, and there's alot to put down. I'm going to put it down here and transfer it over to the runescape forums.
At this point, I'm not sure I'm going to go through with it, but there are alot of misconceptions, and when I get involved they usually clear up.
Please do not post anything on this thread.

I have changed my name to "<deleted name from this text for security> 10000" as a protest for Jagex to continue it's work to control the botting situation.
It simply says that I, a paying member who has been playing for x number of years and days, feel it's important to the gameplay that botting be not permitted.
I realize that changing my name to this does not exempt me from being accused as a bot. (In fact I am probably going to be accused more by the people who do use bots.)
I apologize to my clanmates and my friends. I know if this works, it will create problems with everyone being named the same (i.e. "Congrats Bots"). I hope that the number will help. If anyone wishes to protest with me please pick a special number so that people can idetify you with it.

How to spot a bot
(include different types of botters/ motivation)
I know of some one. One of their clan mates caught them botting. The clan mate told the clan, and everyone came to make sure. They made a bot parade, calling out things like "She's a bot!!!" When she logged in the next day, the leader had a talk with her. She vehemently denied that she botted, but she was still kicked out of the clan.

Final Thoughts
So, if Jagex didn't outlaw them, and you did not have to fight a machine for your life and for limited resources(i.e. Green Dragons), would you still have something against someone using an auto clicker?
